In the Distance

Deep blue water, wet upon my heels.
Soft green leaves adorn your shore,
tickling as I kneel.
Off in the distance, arches wide of stone,
gap you and me together,
no limits have shown.
One day I'll walk straight across
to meet you, for time has grown.
Holding onto and kindling
the solid life we have sown.

  2. That is a beautiful bridge and I like how you've joined yourself to nature through it.

  4. Much like the bridge...waiting for time to pass...links two together (the "I" and the "you"). Very nice.
