Arch Bliss

Beautiful curves and angles,
reaching high into the sky.
Finely crafted glass and wood adorn you,
standing the long test of time.
Seeing decades of faces pass by,
having driven by you many times,
this day you catch my eye.
On my approach toward you,
I feel the need to take you in,
forever capturing the subtle beauty
that you possess within.

  1. Beauty is like that, isn’t it? One day, we stop and take notice of something that’s been there for a long time, reminding us that there is beauty everywhere. And maybe it's a good thing tat we don't always see the beauty in everything. If we did, we might implode from sheer overwhelm...

    Lovely piece.

  3. I love your poem about the architecture, I think as we mature, we sometimes take the time to slow down and enjoy the view. I know I do.
