Light and dark, together they twist, mix and brew.
Rain does fall, shiver delivered to the deepest bone.
Alone in this darkness, I feel at home.
A candle could burn, moments dash as they pass.
Deeper into the darkness I dwell. I feel you near,
you nestle and stare.
Forever you care and tear at the strings of my heart,
a puppet I am, no pain, no worry, no descending tears.
I love you I claim, I don't try to own you or change you.
You are too strong for that now.
You give me a glimmer, just a little shimmer, of hope.
My love brims all the way to rim, I let go of all fear.
not sure how to feel about this one...if they are giving you a glimmer just to keep you on the puppet strings or if their love is that much it only takes a bit...
ReplyDeleteTo me, this is spiritual...
ReplyDeleteas they say in Hunger Gamer hope is more important than fear

I am with Brian on this one...very mixed in feeling, but well done
ReplyDeleteAnother vote for not being quite sure what to make of this, but I love the internal rhymes; shiver delivered etc
ReplyDeleteletting go of fear, yes!
ReplyDeleteHi Gwen, No mystery here - your last line says it all: "My love brims all the way to rim, I let go of all fear." Great stuff! With Best Wishes Scott www.scotthastie.com
ReplyDeleteGwen, I agree the last line is superb. It is all about letting go of fear.
