as long as they are smiling in the end...nice one shot
As long as the lips are reflected back you are good. :-)
Terrific. I often write about aging and changing. I live to read others' takes on the topics.http://www.kimnelsonwrites.com/2011/06/14/letting-go/
Hi nice poem.
The mirror remains the same yet we change, changing it, nice write.
Thank you all very much for your thoughts and comments! My thought,Life is too short not to find time to smile and laugh..and so I do. :)
I love the double-edged meaning of 'vanity mirror' (actual vanity mirror, or just a mirror-glance fuelled by vanity?). Glad to have discovered your poetry today.
Love the wordplay you have used here... 'Vanity mirror' holds so much, cued by the sense of where we are as we look to the reflections of smiles lost.
I have to agree I love the use of "Vanity Mirror" This is an awesome poem I love the optimism winning out and the old Hollywood feel
very deep. what do we see as we look?
